Common Ground is an acoustic rock trio from Western PA. Friends and bandmates for decades, Jeff Wiley, Todd Wehr and Jerry Rectenwald have honed their ability to blend their voices and instruments to create a single distinctive sound.

This show combines original songs and classic Americana, with a high dose of 70’s singer-songwriter driven material. The group was inspired by the likes of Crosby, Still, and Nash, America, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, Byrds and writers like Dan Fogelberg, Emmy Lou Harris, Joni Mitchell, and Lyle Lovett. 

The trio is joined by fellow veteran musicians, Frank Jay Wiley (bassist) and Jeff Kerr  (drums)  for  the full club concert performances, festivals and events.

Since the early 90’s Western PA based Common Ground has performed throughout the Region at venues including Rosebud, Grafitti, Metropol, Point Park, IC Lite Amphitheater, Strand Theater, Seven Springs, Star Lake Pavilion, Jergels,  Regatta at Lake Arthur, Big Rail Amphitheater, in addition to various festivals and  Community Artist Series Events

The group has performed live on radio, has worked with Grammy Winning Producer/Recording Engineer Joe West and has opened venue shows for such artists as Joe Grushecky, Crosby Stills and Nash, Chicago and more recently; The Clarks !
